North Korea Threatens To Shoot Down Japanese Airplanes

North Korea Nuclear Test Ballistic Missiles
North Korea threatens to shoot down any Japanese aircraft which entered North Korea territories. And at the same time, North Korea also accuses Japan has conducted espionage and has been tout their country since the beginning of last week.

"North Korean People's Army (KPA) in a report made by Yonhap news agency says, "An E-767 aircraft have conducted flights over the waters of North Korea on the eastern of Wonsan to the top of the water in the eastern of Musudan region after departed from the Japan's Air base at around 8:30 AM on 25 June."

Musudan is a location used by North Korea during a long-range missile launch in April. At that time the North Korean claimed that the missile launch is meant to place their satellites in earth orbit. However, neighboring countries of North Korea believes that the launch has been disguised to test their ballistic missile.

Reports from Korean People's Army (KPA) said that a Japanese surveillance aircraft have also conducted a reconnaissance mission on their air space on Wednesday.

"Air forces from the Korean People's Army will not tolerate any act of espionage carried out by Japanese troops, and without forgiveness they will directly shoots down any planes that infiltrate into air territorial of North Korea even though it is only as far as 0.001 mm," the report said.

North Korea is believed currently preparing to launch a pilot project for long-range missile launch from the east coast of their territory as a follow-up of nuclear testing on 25 mei ago.

North Korean Ballistic Missiles May Be Launched To Hawaii On Independence Day 4th Of July

North Korea is planning to shoot their ballistic missiles towards Hawaii on American Independence Day 4th of July. This reports is submitted by the Japanese daily, Yomiuri Shinbun, based on the analysis of Japan's defense ministry.

The missiles, believed to be a Taepodong-2 with a range of up to 4,000 miles, and estimated to be launched in early July from the Dongchang-ni site on the north-western coast of the secretive country.

Yomiuri Shinbun published that analysis after the U.S. officials and South Korea says that North Korea may be ready to perform another ballistic rudal testing after three previous launchs in 1998, 2006 and this year. Pyongyang said that their last launch on 5 April to place a satellite to orbit, while the U.S. and allies claimed that the launch was slightly obscured because theoretically Taepodong-2 rudal could reach the Alaska.

U.S. Defence Secretary Robert Gates said the additional defences around Hawaii consist of a ground-based mobile missile system and a radar system nearby.

Together they could shoot an incoming missile in mid air. "Without telegraphing what we will do, I would just say... we are in a good position, should it become necessary, to protect Americans and American territory," Gates said.

Japanese Defense Ministry believes that North Korea may now be planning to launch rudal Taepodong-2 to the island of Okinawa in Japan, Guam, or even Hawaii. However, the ministry concluded launches toward Okinawa or Guam were 'extremely unlikely' because the first-stage booster could drop into waters off China, agitating Beijing, or hit western Japanese territory.

If rudal will be shoot in the right direction to Hawaii, the parts of its propellers and boosters can fall in the Japan sea (East Sea) before other parts of the rudal is flying to the north of Japan and north America. "That steps could increase military pressure against the U.S.", Yomiuri quoted.

Japan Ministry of Defense also concluded that the "most possible" the next North Korean's experiment to ballistic rudal launch will be set to directly launch to Hawaii. However, the ministry said the Taepodong-2 that has been modified, with shoot range 4.000-6500 km, may not be able to reach Hawaii, which is located over 7,000 km from the Korean peninsula.

The white paper: "Defending Australia in the Asia-Pacific Century; Force 2030", Australia Military Upgrade Plans

Australia Upgrade Military, The white paper defending australia in the Asia pacific force 2030

Australian government said that they will spend more than U.S. $ 70 billion to upgrade their military over the next two decades. This is done to answer the needs of military strength increasing and military power shift in the world. Key purchases include 100 F-35 fighter jets and 12 new submarines, replacing the current six fleet.

Eight frigates and 24 combat helicopters are also on the list, set out in the country's first defence white paper for 10 years. The white paper is entitled: "Defending Australia in the Asia-Pacific Century; Force 2030".

Australia government says it will enable Australia defending their interests in a changing Asia-Pacific region.

The 12 new hunter-killer submarines - which will be built in Australia - will double the size of the current fleet, and funds will also be allocated to counter cyber and electronic warfare.

The paper said that the U.S would remain an indispensable ally. But it said that China's military build-up - if it remained unexplained - could be a cause for concern in the region.

Australia is not predicting a confrontation with China, but it is planning for that worst-case eventuality.

Prime Minister Kevin Rudd denied that the spending was made to response China, saying that Australia simply needed "to take a calm, measured, responsible approach for the future".

But Defence Minister Joel Fitzgibbon said the paper acknowledged that the emergence of new powers could lead to some strategic competition across the globe.

"It's very prudent for the government to ensure against the rift that might flow from that increased strategic competition and, of course, it's very prudent for us to recommit to that doctrine of self-reliance," he told Australian radio.

"In other words, we need to be able to defend our country without necessarily relying on the assistance of other nation states."
