My Day

Ugh. I feel terrible. Even though I'm not eating that much, I'm not losing any weight—bright side, not gaining either.

My symptoms:
• Severe pain under right ribs, pain feels like burning, boring, searing, stabbing, pain is constant—also have burning pain across mid-stomach and back, feeling like something is on fire, inflamed, and swollen particularly after eating;
• Bitter taste in mouth;
• Numb hands, around lips, and tip of tongue, also so some numbness in my feet;
• Inability to eat spicy food, fatty food causes symptoms but not like spicy food;
• Fatigued;
• Nauseated;
• Diarrhea alternating with constipation;
• Rapid heart rate in the evenings after going to bed (been up to 115 bpm);
• Low blood pressure (sometimes like 92/65);
• Sick of feeling this way.

That's what I'm living with on pretty much a daily basis.

Here is what you can do to help protect yourself. The most important thing is to make sure your immune system is in top condition. You can improve its condition by eating the following foods: Shellfish,chicken,liver,oily fish,wheatgerm,high antioxidant vegetables and fruit such as oranges, carrots, and sweet potato, yogurt, sunflower seeds and seaweed.
The best supplements to use are vitamin c, ensure that you are using a good brand name, and that is 1000mg.
The trace element Zinc has been found to boost natural immunity against disease, and also aids the excretion of of toxic cadmium found in cigarette smoke.
Garlic too can help boost the immune system, it contains a potent sulpher compound Allicin. In cream form Allicin was used in clinical trials, and found to kill the so-called super bug (MRSA), which is resistant to antibiotics.

Natural therapy for head pain and migraine.

Migraine symptoms can come and go and may last for several hours.
What is migraine?. It is a severe and often disabling pain in the head, usually on one side only. Sometimes it is accompanied by alarming symptoms such as altered perception, a feeling that the skull is in the grip of a tightening vice, pins and needles or numbness in the limbs, nausea, vomitting, and the inability to do anything.

Migraine sufferers should first seek advice from a medical practitioner, and then verify that their problem is not caused by a food allergy.
Beneficial foods include carrots, celery, beetroot, cucumber, spinach, and parsley. Supplements of vitamin c, and b, (especially b3 ) and the mineral magnesium are said to help prevent attacks. Royal jelly is also said to be effective.

You may like to use the herb Feverfew, which is available in capsule form from any good health food store. The herb can also alleviate depression and nervous disorders.
Guarana is a native vine of the Brazilian Amazon, and can be bought in tablet form. It is claimed to relieve headaches and migraine quickly. Guarana is also used as an appetite-suppressant and is claimed as a slimming product. It is also reputed to be an effective sexual stimulant.

Other natural help for migraine/head pain comes from homeopathy. The remedies Nat mur 6c taken hourly may help although it is best not to self-help, and as always with homeopathy the remedy may depend on circumstances and symptoms.
